Small ceramic horse head was kiln fired and fired again a second time in a fire pit dug into the ground where I set fire to twigs and pine needles to create smoke that blackened most of him. Hand formed ceramic flowers were added with copper wire to augment the theme begun with the leaves. Mounted on a black granite base.
